Write your plate in 30 seconds
You only do it once. After that you change what it opens (Google, Instagram, your menu…) from the dashboard, without touching it again.
Nothing to install: you write it from the website itself with Chrome. 30 seconds per plate.
Apple doesn’t allow writing from the web, so we use NFC Tools (free). 40 seconds per plate.

Turn on NFC
Swipe down the top bar and tap NFC, or go to Settings → Connections → NFC. If you already pay with your phone, it’s already on.

Open your dashboard in Chrome
Log in with the link in the email (or from «Go to my dashboard»), go to Write and press Write now on the right plate. If Chrome asks about NFC, tap Allow.

Hold the plate to the back, in the centre
On almost every Android the antenna is in the centre of the back. Keep the plate still for 2 seconds until the phone vibrates and the website says «Written».

Test it like a customer
Lock and unlock your phone and hold it near the plate: your listing opens. In the dashboard the plate changes to «written · working». Repeat with the next one.

Copy your plate’s link
In your dashboard, Write → tap Copy on the right plate. Each plate has its own.

Paste it into NFC Tools
Open NFC Tools → Write → Add a record → URL / URI. Leave «https://» as it is, paste into the box and tap OK.

Hold the plate to the top of the iPhone
Tap Write and hold the plate to the top, next to the camera. In 1 second it says «Write complete».

Test it like a customer
Close NFC Tools and hold the unlocked iPhone near the plate: a notification appears at the top, tap it and your listing opens. In the dashboard it changes to «written · working».
If something’s not working
Nothing happens when I hold my phone near it
Find the antenna: on iPhone it’s at the top, next to the camera; on Android, in the centre of the back. Remove the case if it’s thick or metal and keep the plate still for 2 seconds. On Android, check that NFC is turned on.
On Android I don’t see the «Write now» button
You need Chrome. If you use another browser or your phone doesn’t allow it, install NFC Tools from Google Play and follow the iPhone steps: they’re the same.
NFC Tools says «read only» or «tag locked»
That chip came locked from the factory. Write to us with your order number and we’ll send you another one free of charge.
If I change the destination, do I have to write it again?
No. The plate stores your Tocky link; what it opens (Google, Instagram, menu…) you change from the dashboard whenever you like, instantly.
What about the QR?
If your plate has a factory-printed QR, it points to another website: cover it with the QR sticker you download from the dashboard («QR sticker» button on each plate) or leave it and use only NFC.
